Rutabaga In The Microwave

Melt that wax off in a pot of boiling water. Pour the water off. Dry the rutabaga with a towel then microwave the root whole on full power for 5 minutes or till you hear it scream. It will make a noise. then carefully take it out of the microwave. Cut it in half thru the root end. Dice it in the skin and scoop it out. Put it in some Chicken broth with sat n pepper. and olive oil. Cook till tender. Or cook it in the microwave till the rutabaga is fork tender, cut it in half thru the root and scrape it out with a fork. eat it eith salt. pepper and butter like mashed potato.
